Techie stuff and general rants from a grumpy old man
When I first moved to Sandbach I stayed at the Old Hall Hotel for about three weeks while I decorated the house. That was about 1992. Unfortunately the hotel closed and was left to rack and ruin until last year when a local pub restaurant company bought it. They have done a superb renovation job on it. Jane and I visited tonight. Well impressed.
A customer has just reported that the admin control panel on his server is not responding. It is custom php but hosted on the same server as this web site which as far as I can see is responding perfectly normally.

“What do you do at the car thing at The Trafford Centre?” Jane asked. “Buy your birthday present then stand around chatting about cars Darling.”
or in this case Pandora Charm. It’s what Jane wants for her birthday and the nearest Pandora shop is at the Trafford Centre where there happens to be an Alfaowner meeting this evening. Oh well I suppose I shall have to go to the car meet for the sake of my wife if nothing else.
