Just booked my RoSPA Advanced Driving test. I have got about 2 weeks to revise my Highway Code etc.
Interesting one for you. Rule 97 Before Setting Off. Last item. “Switch off your mobile phone.”
Elsewhere the Highway Code talks about not using your phone except in case of emergency. Strict interpretation of 97 would say it shouldn’t be switched on anyway – hands free or no hands free.
Think I will switch it off for my test come what may.
